This program also gives knowledge about the implementation of security measures, such as access control, surveillance, and physical security measures. Seafarers with designated security duties in maritime catering should be trained on how to use security equipment and procedures, and how to respond to security incidents. This training program is designed to ensure that seafarers with designated security duties in maritime catering are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a secure and safe environment on board the ship.

Eligibility to join the programme: -

• Indian Passport mandatory
• Medical fitness certified by DG approved Doctor.
• In order to qualify for this course, the applicant must have passed in 10th standard from a recognized Board.
